The Fellowship of the Ring Virtual Camp

Dates: June 29th- July 3rd (5 days)

Capacity: 15 Campers, Ages 1st-6th

An epic tale of adventure is here! Middle Earth is in peril and the only way to stop it is to join forces and work together to conquer the great evil of Sauron. In this camp we will make costumes based off the different characters in Middle Earth including Elves, Dwarves, Knights and Hobbits and band together across backgrounds to play cooperative, escape room games and learn the secrets of the backyard habitat. We will read maps, learn from Ents and find hidden nature treasures. We will examine animal signs and plants and become trackers as we investigate all the wildlife that live in our backyards. We will listen to selected tales from the classic book series while enjoying Hobbit treats. Camp will conclude with a grand zoom celebration of our skills and a Lord of the Rings Inspired Virtual Party! 

Schedule:

11 a.m.-12p.m. Zoom Morning Meeting

12 p.m.-2:00 p.m. Independent time including video demonstrations and morning activity completion.

2:00-3:30 p.m. Craft and Activity Zoom Meeting

Throughout the week: Demonstration videos to watch, a few live story times at 6:30 p.m. (CDT)

Activities and Materials include:

An LOTR Themed camp packet delivered or mailed to your door for all registrations on or before June 23rd.
