Bloom, A Botanical Art Camp

Join Under the Canopy for a magical week-long camp among the flowers! We will make flower inspired art including a handstitched accordion book. Harnessing the power of the sun we will make botanical prints and learn basic botanical sketching. We will investigate the medicinal and edible qualities of the wild and cultivated plants that grow in Oklahoma. We will also explore the stories and lore behind these flowers including the use of the Victorian language of flowers and the botanic history of native plants. Camp will conclude with handmade flower filled tea, and a party celebrating our week of learning. All supplies included in the cost.
