About The Event
Wednesdays 4-9 years old. February-May 15 classes 10:00-11:30 a.m. Semester long class meets once weekly. $300 for the semester or $75 a month. Sibling discount available. Drop off program. Join the Homeschool Naturalist Class as we bring the rhythms of nature to your children by exploring the outdoor environment. In this class we will begin our studies in Ancient Oklahoma! Ever been curious about what animals roamed pre-historic Oklahoma? What plants lived here? When did our state turn from shallow seas to the great plains? Join us this spring as we explore all these facts and more! Examine fossils, Hear pre-historic stories, examine ancient plants, and draw pictures of the megafauna and flora that inhabited the great plains. Our study of ancient Oklahoma will be combined with our regular UTC pedagogy of seasonal exploration of the plants and animals that surround us daily. Children will come home with a community of nature loving friends and a field journal filled with their drawings and observation throughout the semester!
